Sure I’d been a 100% plant-eater, a vegan for about 15 years. And yes, I’d always prided myself on keeping fit. So why did my body seem to be falling apart as I approached the age of 40?

Body-fat in the wrong places. Trouble sleeping, most nights. Constipation. 'Brain fog,' and a general sense of lethargy. I suffered them all. Oh yes: And I developed a case of asthma that wouldn't seem to go away - no matter what I tried.

I became desperate for answers.

To make a long story short, I then discovered what I now call the 'food of the Gods.’ Man I found, is predisposed to consume it. It supplies EVERY nutrient he needs to maintain vibrant health (and fuel great workouts). It cleanses the digestive tract like nothing else. What's more: It's delicious!

This really works!

I have always tried to be diligent at my workouts, but for some reason, I always fall off the wagon. I am busy mother of 2 who works full time and attends college full time so it is easy to see why I might use the time factor as an excuse. Using Jeff's ideas, I find that I workout everyday for a minimum of 15 minutes. In 30 days, I lost only about 5 pounds, but I took photos and there were VISIBLE changes and my pants don't fit. I have lost inches and feel so much better. Although there is information similar to Jeff's workouts online, he puts them together in a way that I have not yet read. They are motivating and doing them has made me actually CRAVE to move my body more for the first time in my life. Thank you Jeff!!!!

The nutrition section of the book is nothing new to me as I have been eating this way for quite some time, however, some of the information may be a shock to some people who are more used to the Standard American Diet. It is an extremely healthy way of eating and is one of the most effective ways of supporting great athletic fitness.

It would have been a five star review except for the format. The book read like a series of articles. This led to the book being repetitive in spots, sometimes word for word. A good editor would have been helpful. However, this is his first book and some leeway can be granted, at least from me, but some readers might not like the way that information is presented. Perhaps he will have a second edition with a better format.

Would I recommend this book? Yes. I would and I have. His tips have helped me get into the best shape I have been in years. I still have a ways to go, but I am using Jeff's workout advice to train for a grueling competitive stair climb race in March 2014. His advice really is that good.

Everything You Need!

All I have to say is "Wow!" What an eye-opening book on easy ways to build your health cheaply and efficiently without the use of restrictive diets or overly-exhausting workouts. Jeff clearly illustrates the picture of health for us in this clear and to-the-point book on achieving your best health through a clean vegan diet(primarily raw is advised) and easy-to-do workouts such as squats, push-ups and jogs. I recommend this book to anyone breaking free from the mental games and gimmicks of current fitness activists. If you like a no B.S approach, this is for you!

Well Worth The Money

I've been using Jeff's strategies related to body weight exercises and approach to dieting for several years now. The combination of exercise and diet have improved my overall fitness and vitality. I'm 47 but don't feel it. I am able to use the workouts without injury and find the sweet spots as far as how hard to push myself. Of course the improved diet, higher green and fruit intake via smoothies, has improved my stamina and allows me to perform workouts I couldn't do in my early 40's. This book is easy to read and understand. Highly recommended. Thanks Jeff!
